The Timeline

Below is a rough guide to timings. The thing to remember is that the big things need doing first, such as venues, and once they are done you can afford a little sigh of relief but don't leave everything until the last minute.

Don't forget that in our book is a printable timeline which you can insert all your planning activities, and pin it up in your kitchen. Tick off the tasks as you go, try and do a couple every week or so. Remember that you will probably need to visit a few venues and perhaps arrange tastings etc and this can take time if you work during the week and only have weekends to visit venues. If you plan properly, and you can always shuffle round your dates - that is not a failure, you will enjoy the build up to the big day far more. So here goes....
