Many countries have their own traditions, some that spring to mind are India, Norway, Nigeria - in fact the list is far to big too list them all, but all such countries have beautiful clothes which are traditional. If you are not getting married in these countries and you don't own the national or regional costume, you may have to do some research. Also it is important to check with your partner, especially if they are the ones that come from a country whose national dress you wish to wear. Whist your motives might be to delight and surprise, your in-laws might think it a little odd that someone wants to adopt their customs for the day. Keep talking is always our motto!
