Most venues now have a good idea that today's couple are looking for three things: choice, value for money and above all, quality. Whilst all venues will say they can provide this, it is a risk, and the best way of managing this risk is to go with your personal experience (hire a venue or caterer you have experienced yourself) or by asking to taste a sample menu. You should also ask for proof of satisfied customers as well.
