Budgeting

 

Budgeting is the bit about organising any wedding that causes consternation. It is also the part which constantly is under pressure as unseen costs and unexpected expenditure seems to come out of nowhere. We will endeavour to help you through this but remember a budget needs constant monitoring and a lot of will power!

Any budget must be centred around your plan. A very basic plan for a wedding looks like this:

  • Choose date

  • Choose venue (church/ceremony)

  • Send out Save the Date Notices

  • Choose reception venueA piggy-bank - start saving

  • Make first list of invitees

  • Book photographer

  • Book transportation

  • Book cake

  • Book honeymoon

  • Choose dress/grooms outfit/attendants outfits

  • Create wedding List

  • Send out invitations

  • Buy gifts for wedding party
